Wahoo-100

The Wahoo-100 is Geomil’s compact seabed Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) system, purpose-built for smaller projects and lighter deployments.
Powered by the renowned Continuous Drive System (CDS), it delivers 100 kN of net thrust. Inspired by the exceptionally fast saltwater fish, the Wahoo-100
achieves retraction speeds of 80 mm/s. Deployment is simple: the system is lowered to the seabed via a single hoist umbilical wire, which supplies
power and transmits real-time data transmission.

The tube string is tensioned and guided along this umbilical. This design ensures highly efficient operations while significantly minimizing the wear and
tear typically associated with alternative systems.

The system has a base mass of 2350 kg, with the option to add up to seven additional ballast plates of 1400 kg each. With a base height of 2.07 m and a compact footprint of just 1.5 x 1.5 m, the Wahoo-100 is compatible with nearly any vessel and hoisting facility.
